Lino printing is a fun and rewarding way to create great images on fabric, Textural and stylised effects, pattern and realistic images can all be created and what is more, repeated as many times as you want. Overprinting, combining prints and multi-coloured prints all extend the ways that you can express yourself with lino printing.

WABI SABI TEXTILES WITH JUDITH ROBERTS

9.30am-12.30pm SATURDAY, 15 JULY

Wabi sabi is an arts and crafts philosophy that values the imperfect - the weathered, rusted, torn, cracked, crooked and handmade – above new, shiny, straight edge, mass-produced. In this workshop we will explore this idea by using discarded scraps and found objects to make a beautiful A4 size artwork. Bring along scraps that have meaning for you – fragments from a favourite garment, shells, gumnuts, feathers, old buttons, a page from a disintegrating book, a shard of broken china. Wear something old, be ready to have fun!

COST: $60 tuition + $5 kit
