The 2011 Festival is now behind us, and from all accounts was a great event for all who participated.

Returning to the heart of Wangaratta (after several festivals located out of town at Wangaratta Airport) had the desired effect of reconnecting with our community, making it easier for visitors to find the exhibits and events, and creating the reinvigorated feel we were hoping for.  The festival exhibits, crafternoons, workshops and the inaugural Makers Market were all very well attended and vistor responses have been overwhelmingly positive.

The festival committee are currently taking some well-earned time to recover and evaluate the festival.  Stay tuned for visitors survey results and plans for a small weekend event including a large-scale Crafternoon and a Makers Market in July 2012, followed by the next full Festival program in 2013.
