The Festival Committee meet all year round to plan, organise, fundraise for and conduct the festival and other related events. This dedicated group of volunteers have a diverse range of interests & skills which results in a varied program each festival.

Volunteering During the Festival

The festival couldn't operate without its army of volunteers who help with setting up the exhibitions and displays, helping with the competition entries and judging, attending the front desk at the main venue, helping with catering, and conducting demonstrations of textile art and crafts.
